Get ready …

It’s long, it’s bumpy, and it can get tough.  The road is not suitable for sedan vehicles. High road clearance vehicles is recommended; Four-wheel drive more comfortable. Vehicles should be roadworthy and tyres in a very good condition…

Our Vision for the Future

Allow us to share with you, during a 3 hour trip, how nature works. At Zandvlakte we inspire people to think outside the box. Since 2006, research done by universities and sponsored by several international organizations, helped us to form a learning network in which holistic management plans for the area can be considered.

Guests at Zandvlakte can visit the restoration sites as part of the ecological tour presented by your host, Pieter Kruger.
